
Amanda Hope Starkey – Housing Director
Amanda Hope Starkey is an accomplished affordable housing executive and civil rights advocate with over 20 years of experience leading housing programs across tribal, nonprofit, and government sectors. She has managed multi-site portfolios and overseen compliance with NAHASDA, LIHTC, HUD, and Rural Development regulations. Her work includes directing capital projects, securing federal funding, and developing equitable policies that serve low-income, elder, and Indigenous communities.
Amanda is currently pursuing her legal education at Georgetown University, with a focus on social justice, housing law, and tribal sovereignty. Her leadership is grounded in a deep commitment to equity and community empowerment, and she continues to champion housing as a human right through policy, advocacy, and service.
